You will need to attend a brief one-hour orientation.  We will offer this orientation at several times and dates for your convenience.  At this orientation, we will review the program materials and Junior Achievement policies.  You will also receive your materials and teacher information.

If you are unable to reach your teacher, are unable to keep your commitment to the JA program or need any assistance, please call the JA office (817) 731-0838  or e-mail lcox@jafortworth.org as soon as possible.

Volunteers say......

"The Our City program is a lot of fun - for me as well as the kids!  The material is really hitting the mark.  They've enjoyed constructing the paper buildings and the play acting the most. Very creative."
 - Mike Sessums, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics - Fort Worth

"Thank y'all so much for the great lunch, gift certificates, goodies, and recognition! It was so fun to hear everyone's story. JA was a great experience for me. I loved doing it, and I'm even more overjoyed to know that Sabre really supports my involvement. I'm so glad that Sabre encourages participation! It adds a lot of meaning and purpose to my work life."
 - Lori Bruns, Sabre

"JA gives me the opportunity to fulfill my secret desire to teach, as well as show my daughter's that we can juggle work and family responsibilities - especially when we make priorities for something like this.  I haven't encountered a parent yet that hasn't just loved their experience.  The children's enthusiasm is exhilarating!  Thanks for all you do to keep the program moving forward."
- Liz Henderson, EDS

Teachers say......

" This has been my first experience to have Junior Achievement.  Our representative was wonderful!  The information and materials were well designed for the first grade and he took it and ran.  My students loved to see him come and they hated to see him go today.  I look forward to many more years with PharmaFab and JA.  Thank you for organzing it for us."
- Laura Tomblinson-Loose, First Grade Teacher at Johns Elementary School
